What this site is
Her Body Manual is a women's fitness and body-science education brand. Every video, guide, workbook, course, and email exists to explain how bodies generally work — what the research shows, where it's uncertain, and which claims are marketing.
What this site is not
Her Body Manual is not a medical clinic, diagnostic service, treatment program, personalized nutrition practice, rehabilitation service, or a substitute for a licensed healthcare professional. Specifically, nothing here is:
- a diagnosis — no video or guide can tell you what your symptoms mean;
- a treatment plan or a reason to start, stop, or change any medication;
- an individualized exercise prescription or rehab program;
- a personalized diet, supplement protocol, or eating-disorder treatment;
- pregnancy or postpartum care;
- emergency guidance.
No professional relationship
Watching, reading, downloading, or purchasing our material does not create a clinician–patient, dietitian–client, or trainer–client relationship. The illustrated host is a fictional educational character, not a credentialed professional.
Populations and individual variation
Episodes name the population the evidence was studied in. Averages describe groups, not you: your history, medications, and circumstances can change what applies. Where our content and your clinician disagree, your clinician wins — they know your case; we don't.
When to seek professional care
Don't delay or discard professional care because of something here. See a qualified professional promptly for severe or persistent symptoms, chest pain, fainting, significant shortness of breath, injury, unexplained major changes, or anything that worries you — and before exercise or nutrition changes if you are pregnant, recently postpartum, or under physician-imposed restrictions. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) now — not us, and not a search bar.
Accuracy and updates
Claims are sourced before publication and library entries list their sources. Evidence changes; we update entries when important findings shift and stamp them with a last-updated date. If you spot an error, email hello@herbodymanual.com — corrections are welcome.
