The short version
Her Body Manual collects the minimum we need to run a newsletter and deliver guides: your email address, given voluntarily. We never ask for — and don't want — your health data. We never sell your data.
What we collect and why
- Email address — when you subscribe to the newsletter or request the free Her Body Baseline guide. Used to send the confirmation email, deliver the guide after you confirm, and send the weekly newsletter you opted into. Processed by Kit(kit.com), our email service provider; their processing is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Signup context — whether the request came from the newsletter or guide route, plus the referring page when available. Both routes join the same double-opt-in Kit form. We do not ask you to provide health information with the request.
- Aggregate analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-free, privacy-friendly tool. We see page counts and referrers, not you. No advertising trackers, no cross-site identifiers.
Health data — deliberately not collected
We do not ask for and do not want diagnoses, menstrual-cycle records, medication lists, lab results, pregnancy status, medical records, body images, or symptom histories. Our guides are designed to be completed privately, on paper or on your own device — nothing in them is uploaded to us. Please don't send sensitive health details by email either; we can't advise on them, and you shouldn't have to share them to learn.
What we do not do
- No selling or renting of personal data, to anyone, ever.
- No advertising trackers or cross-site cookies.
- No purchase of third-party email lists.
- No collection of health information.
Email practices
Marketing subscriptions are double opt-in. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, honored immediately. Unsubscribing stops future marketing sends. Replies to a support or privacy request may still be sent as direct correspondence.
Data retention and your rights
We keep your email while you remain subscribed. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by replying to any of our emails or contacting privacy@herbodymanual.com. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.
